Things happen when you go outside and play some tunes for the people. At first I admit I had mixed feelings, but thanks to some nice folk here things are looking up. Come to Stadtwirt every fri for a dose of Aussie music! and drop me a line for info on other regular gigs here and there. Bremen the home of brother Grimms City Musicians certainly has some interesting qualities. Its always great to arrive in Berlin, and also nice to leave. |

Spring finally arrived in DE..thank god. I spent the week recording in Berlin, a special thanks to Rainer the engineer and also to the German dudes who provided the accomodation, apparently I was not quite neat and tidy enough ...its a trip thats for sure. I recorded some new and some not so new songs so i hope to finish them soon. Playing a few shows this month in Bremen with "Lonely Planet Boy" a singer from a DE band ..should be fun |

Last gigs in Dresden and Northern Germany were solo acoustic and thankfully a very pleasant experience. Having a very long breakfast in a cafe in Dresden watching the heavy snow falling outside ...aahh so gentle on those bloodshot eyes. Walking on fresh snow through the woods in a small village in Ficsherude after the Quelkorn gig was also memorable. Nothing better in these cold winter nights than to be playing a rockin set to an enthusiastic audience..and waking up the next day to white beautiful serenity ..certainly looking forward to the next one. |

Spent the last week holed up in the studio , it was minus 15 or something like that..to be honest ,it was really tough recording music in a foreign country is certainly challenging....to say the least. |

Having played 16 solo acoustic shows and 4 with Rue Lascar (bad boys of Berlin) last month and moving sets around ,playing some songs I havent touched for a while and getting to know my 1969 Martin a lot better, in between rehearsing with the boys before cutting our debut album this week in Berlin, and finishing some new songs on the road.. trying to draw breath. Here is some of the Hamburg Astra Stube gig. Thank you to all those present and behind the scenes to make that happen http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HuPAthnHck4 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YI94w528_FE |
